North MS shoots
« on: July 08, 2016, 11:12:00 AM »
Can anyone tell me if there are any traditional clubs left in north MS? I've been out of touch with the local scene for years, and haven't been able to find any information on the web. Thinking of shooting 3D again.

Yep.  Lost Tribe is probably as local as you will find.

Hey Chad, glad you're still out there kicking.  :)  I'll be needing some strings before long.

Dang.  Wish I could get there--tell Bill and Sue and Roy and Murray, etc. I said Howdy!

I'm still at it--just let me know what you need.

Thanks Chad. I shot with Roy yesterday, and we did equally poorly.  :)  He beat me, but neither of us was in the running. It was a time-travel experience for me, so much unchanged after 20 years. I'll try again in August if my AK girlfriend hasn't reached KC yet. A man must have priorities!

They had a fund-raiser auction after the shoot for a local Alzheimers day-care center, and I picked up two used 3D targets and a youth bow for the women and youngsters I'm teaching to shoot. Good day! I didn't hear a single word about politics or public unrest the entire time.

Super good people there.  Hope to make at least one of their shoots before it's over for the year.

There's also the Southern Traditional Society around Enid. We also have a lot of shoots in Arkansas.
Northern Mist Classic
Northern Mist Whisper
Northern Mist Superior
