Big Foot Bear Takedown Limbs
« on: July 11, 2016, 11:58:00 PM »
I just bought some Prototype Big Foot Bear Limbs (and some newer Red Tips)from Danny Long (member name: Ric O'Shay).

First of all - Danny was great to deal with on both buys.

The Red Tips were my first newer Bear Limbs and I'm very happy with their overall performance - very smooth, stable and plenty quick.

I'd just like to ask anyone out there who has shot the Big Foot limbs to give their opinion on how they shoot.

I know everybody's experience with how any bow or limbs shoot is different - just looking for some feedback while I'm waiting for the limbs to arrive.

Thanks

Terry

I have a set. Right now they are on my Mag riser. IMO they are pretty quick. I was able to go up in spine from 35/55 to 55/75 carbons. I have the #2 limbs. I like the way they draw, doe not feel like 53#. My only con is having to use a Selway stringer. Because of the "hook" in the limbs it is necessary. I have a BCY X string that LBR built for me.
These limbs are glass/wood. IMO they are as quick and smooth as a set of ILF limbs I have that are carbon/foam. Same weight.

Thanks for the info M60.

They looked to have more of a static recurve design in the pictures Danny sent me of the limbs.

Just thought I'd give them a try, I've also got some Rose Oaks I really enjoy shooting.
