St Jude's apology
« on: July 17, 2016, 09:40:00 AM »
I would like to publicly apologize for the delay in my payment. Terry should not have to chase money for this cause he and the moderators have enough to do. I was not trying to skin out on the kids I'm so busy at work I have not been on the site and sad as it is to say I just forgot. No excuse should not have happen and won't happen again , I contribute every year to this cause and will continue .I just found out about this yesterday my buddy called me and let me know of the thread that terry was looking for me , I am by no means a"Dead Beat " as someone did comment , and truly apologize for any inconvience I caused terry , I paid via PayPal and added $300 extra for the kids

Thank you very much, for paying, the extra AND the apology.  Takes a big man.

Yes indeed, "Wigeon", is a guy you can count on to go the extra! Glad to call him my friend.........
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Thank you. Your top notch in my book. Everyone forgets about things from time to time especially when life gets in the way.

Life happens to all of us sometimes and we forget things. You made it right and then some, and took the time to apologize. You have my respect for sure.

We are marked by our grace in difficult, uncomfortable times rather than times of ease.  You receive high marks, in my book.  Well done.

I agree...Wigeon is a big man for stepping up to this. However it also takes a big man to truly forgive someone from the heart. Seems a couple big men are involved here. Inspiring fellas....just wow. Need more of it.    :clapper:

You can measure a man by how he handles his shortcomings, mistakes, or forgetfulness, no matter the reason, and you, Sir, need a long stick by which we should measure your mark.

Bravo!

Stuff happens. Your a working stiff who was so involved with providing for your family that time got away. That has happened to everyone.  I am retired and have to live by reading sticky notes all over the place including the dash of my truck.

You stepped up in a big way.

Let's just delete this post. Why drag the people involved though the mud.

who drug anyone through the mud?  What is wrong with someone making a "mistake" and then going above what was asked of them?

Our country is running very low on people like this.

I have a friend whose 3 year old daughter is at St. Judes.  Seeing her posts about how awesome their staff is and how they care abou taking care of the kids more than anything makes giving to the St. Judes so much easier.
