My favorite snippet is about how much feral hogs weigh according to a guy who has trapped and been paid by-the-pound for 4,795 animals. There is some pretty good myth debunking in here for folks who are interested.

This is about the best body of information about feral hogs I've found other than    The American Feral Hog   by Tom Kidwell (mandatory reading for all serious hog hunters in my opinion.)

Steve Rinella is a national treasure. while he is not a strictly trad hunter, he is a passionate outdoorsman, an excellent writer, a darn good and thoughtful t.v. show host, and a no-nonsense advocate for all the good things about hunting.

i have all of his books, and am a big fan of his show. his show is one of the only ones i watch every episode of. i also enjoy the fact that he is one of the few hunting advocates/t.v. types who is intelligent enough to engage the antis "on the fly", and knock them back more than a few pegs when they get hysterical.
