Trad Gang Flag
« on: July 18, 2016, 06:56:00 PM »
With Denton Hill shoot coming up I was thinking how nice it would be if we could recognize other TG members while walking around the campground.  Anyone ever thought of designing a Flag.  How about it Terry.

That sounds like a good idea. It would be nice to put some faces to the names that show up here.    :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:

A few years back at Compton a slew of TGer's got together for a meet and greet at one of the pavilions at the host club.  You might try to set up something like that.

All these are good ideas. Let us know how it works at Denton. Gangers are good folks and we ought to jump at the chance to meet them. I personally will have the honor to meet one Friday night. You don't have to be lonely at Trad Gang.com wheel bow shooters just don't get it!

I have a hat also, but it would be neat to put a flag  or the like outside of the tent or camper at the Trad gatherings. I think folks would notice that as much if not more than the hat.

You can get a banner made up at Staples for around $50.00. They do a good job and will help you do the design.

What about a military type guidon.  That would be cool.

Before you consider a banner with a logo, be sure to check with Terry. There may be a TG policy pertaining to this.

How about a TradGang patch or pin? Then you could put it on anything.

The last 2 years JSweka and I waited for the TG shoot.  Nobody ever showed up.  It was talked about and scheduled on here.

I have attended a  couple TG shoots over the years at Denton.  Problem is, the place is so big and so much to see.

It has always been a  good time and usually 4-8 people showed up.

Well there will be a sign by our camp that will just say TG member.  If you see it stop by and say high.  I'll be keeping track of the numbers.

That is a good idea.  I had a tshirt made up last year for that reason.  I wanted to promote this forum because it has helped me so much.

I'll have a "Traditional Bowhunter" sticker, an ETAR sticker and "TG" on my 29' motorhome. If any of you see it, stop by and say "hi".
