One of the really good guys
« on: July 27, 2016, 09:14:00 AM »
Well, yesterday Ron w, Jeff, and I set up two stands. When I say we; I mean it was kind of a joint effort to get Ron's up.
When it came to mine, we selected a good sight, and the proper tree, and were ready to go.
When it was time to start climbing; Jeff asked me if I wanted him to make the climb. Now back when I was about 60, I would have laughed at the idea, but now that I am pushing 70, I gladly accepted.
Well Jeff got it set up, and got my life line and prusik knot set up while Ron started clearing branches. Not too shabby to have friends like that.
Oh, by the way I didn't mention that it is Jeff's land we will be hunting on.

Ken makes it sound like he didn't do anything.....such is not the case, he did a good impression of a work horse dragging the cart around with all our stuff in it. To all involved....      :notworthy:
