Anyone own a Firefly by Jim Jones (Coleman MI?)

Just wanted to know how they shoot and see if there are any pictures?

Thanks for any info. -Drew

I do not own one, but if you find a picture by all means show it.

Drew, I think Jay's in Clare carries a pretty good supply of them.  If I am thinking of the right bow I shot one when I was in there.  They shot well.  You live close enough I would run up there and try one out.

Tim, Jay's doesn't carry any and the bowyer is in Coleman (right next to Clare). So I'll probably be going up for a visit.

I just wanted to get opinions on them, and see any pictures of them other than what's on Bravehearts site.

Thanks TexMex!  I just wanted to see more of his work.

Drew,
Jay's Sporting Goods has four Firefly bows in stock - two takedown longbows and two takedown recurves (I was just in there last night - they are still on the rack).  Between my son and I, we own several Firefly recurves and longbows (13 of them) - all are excellent shooters.  I posted a bunch of photos of our Firefly bows on *********** a while ago.  You can search for "Firefly Bows" under title on that site, or search for "5string" under handle, and you should find threads with lots of pics (some of which have been used on Braveheart's site).

Ron good to see you! I didn't know you were a member? I should have figured!

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to stop back by Jays.  Last week they didn't have any..trust me I looked at every bow there, I always do.   :D

I'll also look on LW, just like doing some research before I get serious.

I still keep hoping Tim will let his one (of many    ) Shrews go or if I'm lucky that Morrison. I doubt it though.
After all I was fine with one bow till I went to deer camp with those guys...   :archer:

Off to do some research...

Thanks, -Drew

Drew, There is still that really nice Shrew Samurai on the Classifieds here that you could pick up.  You are more than welcome to shoot any of my bows at any get together we go to.    :bigsmyl:
