Sharpening steel force heads
« on: August 08, 2016, 05:45:00 PM »
I'm at a loss guys. Trying to sharpen my steel force 225 heads with the KME broadhead sharpener using sandpaper. Burned through 4 sheets of 100 grit just trying to get the right angle on ONE SIDE of a broadhead. Does anyone have experience sharpening these heads and, if so, any tips to help me get them slimmed down to the angle of the KME without spending an arm and a leg? At this rate, I might as well invest the money in a good set of stones.

Any insight is appreciated and, as always, thanks in advance!

I use a wheel sharpener after I get the edge set on the kme. Just go really really light on the strokes
