Same here Muddy is a good one, very comfortable, easy on and off and reasonably priced. Should be going on sale soon too.

Love my Muddy!

HSS for me, but like Bisch I don't hunt from trees much anymore with my bow. Still use treestands for gun hunting and I like being able to put on the vest and have everything all set up.

I've used HSS for many years. Some of the older ones were a bit heavy, but the newer one's are light weight and comfortable.

Mine is the Magnum. Regular price at Cabelas is only $59.95, usually goes on sale around Labor day. I was a Structural ironworker all my working life and worked as high as 700'. We didn't wear safety fall equipment until the last 15 years I worked ( worked 38 years at it)then Osha changed all that. The safety harness's we wore then were heavy as well as our regular tools we wore with the harness ( spud wrenches, sleever bar, bull pin, 6# hammer,12" cresent, 10-15# of bolts and bolt bags.) I never wore a safety harness hunting as I was always within 20' of the ground. I still fall asleep when I first get in the stand waiting for daylight, been off the ground a lot higher all my life. A few years ago my SIL needed a stand put up and I went to help him as he was afraid of heights. He got excited and cause a ladder to collapse when I was setting up the stand. I fell 15' and busted an ankle up bad enough to have to have it screwed back together. Then I decided to start using a harness as I can't take too many more falls at 66. The Muddy magnum is perfect for me with ease of putting it on and comfort wearing it. I bought it during the Labor day sale for $49.95.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!
