A question for you Shrew Samurai owners

Just got one on trade and wondered what the braced range is going to be. It is just a tick over 7" now and is a little louder than I would like. I'm pretty sure I can go up or down maybe a half inch in either directions but don't want to go beyond the recommended brace height. Anyone have the recommeded brace height handy?
