McBroom String Follow
« on: August 29, 2016, 09:16:00 PM »
Ordered a McBroom 66" 45#@29" string follow today. Yew core, cocobolo riser/tip and riser overlays, clear glass and gloss finish. She's gonna be a beauty. Brian was great to talk to and patient. I was bugging him with a couple email changes, he answered right back saying " no problem". He said about 8 weeks, will call when he's ready to start build. Now the hard part, THE WAIT!!!!

You'll love it, I have 3 McBrooms in the family so far. Wanting a fourth.

8 weeks is an easy wait........it's those 12-14 month waits that are really hard.

I have his string follow (the bow on his page with the green glass and tan rough out leather) ,, shoots very nice, very accurate and I can use a variety of spines from it.. one thing you will notice right away is the consistency from shot to shot.
