What happened to Mark Horne
« on: September 27, 2016, 09:36:00 AM »
Greetings everyone.  I have been off the site and quite frankly not shooting for the past several years due to jobs, travel and moving.  Well I finally got all the bows back out this summer and have been slinging arrows.  As you may see, I am quite the fan of my Horne bows made by Mark Horne.  Kind of have a bug to have him build me a new one and I cant find anything and his web site is shut down.  Did he finally retire from the bow making business?

Thanks
Dan

Dan, I think he went to work for an oil company if I remember right.  I saw him this spring and ask him if he had been building any bows and he said he hadn't up until then.

Mark and Sandy were great to deal with.  Very patient with me when trying to decide what woods and such.  Hopefully he will get back into it again.  Now to decide what bow to get now!!
