Marc B. You are so right...  Ive just gotten back into trad this year. Ive been shooting my longbow every day almost. Im eat up with trad shooting. Acorn crop is mighty slim in my area which is Dinwiddie County. Good luck to you this season....

Crowder, white oaks are loaded in greensville and Southampton county.from what I hear Lunenburg as well. People talk about the Rut, but my best deer have come from the first of Oct. Good luck everyone!

Glad to just be able to get out there again-high hopes on a new piece of land. Best of luck to all.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Have a safe season everyone, I hope everyone has a successful one! The acorns are dropping in our area which usually is a good sign!
