Well just got the news that Jerry's place was burned to the ground during the Fires here in CA. No one was hurt, his web site has more info.

No wonder I couldn't get anyone to answer my phone calls.  Didn't know they were in danger.

This is very sad. Hopefully he'll back in production soon. His products are top notch and he has excellent customer service.

Jerry was one of the guys I learned from when I got started.  Everything he makes, he has the bowhunter in mind. Longbow guy from way back.

Jerry is of the grey hair gneration.  He has the ability to come back, but he'll see if he wants to.  I loved his catz claw broadheads.

I have hunted with a Catquiver for many years now.  One of the tubes on my quiver broke during elk season last month.  I called Jerry and he sold me the parts I needed to fix it, along with a couple of new accessories to add to my old quiver--a hydration pouch and a padded waist belt.  He is a great guy.  I am sad to hear his business was consumed by the fire and I hope he will be back in business soon.  My prayers are with him and all the wildfire victims.

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

I am hunting a new property tonight and am taking my new never hunted Cat III. I hope we don't loose Rancho Safari. If the weather were cooler I would also take my Shaggie suit. Thanks for the great "stuff" Jerry.

I noticed yesterday that the web page is back up as usual--no mention of the fire.  Does anyone know any more info?  Hope this means Jerry is going to be back in business.  I just purchased another Catquiver from the classifieds a few days ago, thinking I might not be able to buy a new one if I needed it.

I wondered if he was hot. I asked him about customizing a meat bag for my CatI a couple of month's back. He is a great guy and an asset to our community. God speed to our folks recovery down south.

That was supposed to read "hit", not "hot". What a Freudian typo!
