Copperhead skinning limbs

What woods can you skin over that give the limbs that dulled brown copperhead look? I know Merado is one of them but are there others? Maybe provide pics? I've had copperhead over yew limbs and it looks great but definitely makes for a warmer tone in the skins.

This is a pronghorn with brown glass.  Gave a set of skins to a friend and he put on over Osage that was real yellow and it looked great.

I've seen it over ironwood and walnut that came out fairly brown.

You can stain the inside of the skin before applying it on a limb.  Can achieve about any color you want.

Bowyer can also lay down a light layer of copper metallic paint on the limbs to REALLY make the skins pop.  This method yields impressive results.

Do you know where to find any pictures of the copper metallic paint nineworlds? I have a bow that I just sinew backed that I am going to skin. I have the copperhead skins ready and waiting for it to cure.

there's an image I posted on this thread.  Basically you want the skins over a lighter background to make em bright.
