Wouldn't you figure .
« on: October 12, 2016, 09:24:00 PM »
So I grab my lunch bucket in one hand , and the garage door opener in the other .
Step out on the front steps , lock the door and turn around to head in to work .....
There's three shooter deer standing about twenty yards from me , just looking . And I might add , two of them were standing broadside .       :knothead:
Yeah , I think they know and were just picking on me .

I went to my feeder one time in the middle of the day, thinking nothing would be there at all. There was a problem with my feeder and it had dumped corn on the ground. There was a ton of pigs around the feeder, and I didn't have my bow. I always carry it now.

How many us us learn the hard way that ya got to have your bow on you at all times......but once I made it to my tree stand, and then noticed that I left my arrows on my work bench after I touched up my heads. And that would be the day that all the deer in the woods stopped by to laugh at me.

I have often seen deer act as if they knew I was no threat. They were very casual and not excited at all. At other times, when I was armed, they took off without a second's hesitation. It seems that they recognize a threating posture. Or, as Graps said, sometimes they are just laughing at us.

Being a day sleeper , I got up about 11 am today and my wife told me that the three deer were at the back door this morning and were asking if Graps could come out and play .    :saywhat:

2 weeks ago leaving out the house i noticed a doe and 8 pointer less then 15 yards from the porch at the woodline. They were eating leaves and were not even phased that i was there. I watched them for 10 mins...funny how they act when your not hunting. It's like they know their safe.

Bisch that's a helluva idea! I should've thought of that lol. I notice when I'm out after squirrels I have deer all around. When I'm after deer I'm covered in squirrels. Im convinced they all know what our intentions are and you can't hide it. That's why I just take my bow for a walk through the woods anymore lol
