Have bow will travel?
« on: October 19, 2016, 10:43:00 AM »
This thread really caught my attention:  http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=151280

I was impressed how much this bow traveled and thought it odd.

I must be the "hotel california" for bows as once I have them, they never leave.

So is bow passing around the gang like this common?

I have noticed this too. I am also guilty of sending them down the road if they just don't totally suit me. Or if I see something else I want to try out and need the funds. I usually keep 10 or so in the stable. A car dealer once told me "There is an a$$ for every seat". I guess this sort of applies to bows too.

Very much so!  Being a lefty, I have a small group of friends that I have met here. We buy/sell/trade very often, sometimes just because we get bored.    :jumper:

I have personally bought and sold two seperate bows, three times each. Nothing at all wrong with them. Usually, if one of my friends asks to buy a bow that I have, I usually sell it.

I just read that thread too. very interesting. Makes me wonder about the bow I got off of the classifieds. I will wait for that one to run its course and then post one about mine. I am really intrigued!

huh...I love it.  Not for me, but love the entertainment this provides all folks involved.  Nothing wrong with that.

Makes one wonder whether there might be a business model for this...Like a library for bows.  You check one in, and you can check one out.  Pay shipping and handling.
