Vermont deer question ?
«
on:

I was invited to hunt for 5 days in Vermont with a friend and his grandfather during the rife season. I'll only hunt with my bow, but I can't find any info on wether that is allowed. Can anyone from Vermont clarify for me?

Tyler, archery deer (early) in Vermont is Oct.1 to Oct.28 this year, then a week late season Dec.3-11, which is also muzzleloader season.
Regular rifle season runs Nov.12 to 27.
I hope something works out for you. What part of the state will you be in?

You can use a bow during rifle but are limited to bucks only with the 2pts on one side minimum antler restriction.
VT does not require Hunter Orange during rifle season although the Fish & Wildlife recommends its use - as does commonsense. I wear an orange hat at minimum during the rifle season. Everyone in our camp does and by far most I come across are also wearing orange.

Thanks guys. I just needed to know if I could use my bow during deer season. I'll be up during rifle season joining a friends grandfather. We don't know how many hunts he has left so I want to join..

Out of curiosity, what part of the state are you hunting?
