Glass-backed John Strunk bow?
« on: October 26, 2007, 07:08:00 PM »
The subject line says it all.  Has John Strunk ever made glass-backed bows?

Thanks,
John

My goodness yes, he built laminated bows before he ever made selfbows. I have had recurves, Hill style longbows, English yew bows with rawhide backs all made by John.

Bob,
Thank you so much for the info.  I found a Strunk bow on E*** that is stated to be glass-backed and wasn't sure if this could be true.

Yep, I have one, too. A straight limbed Hill style bow that's a real smooth shooter.
