Gents,

I "test drove" a Super D that Dan sent me a couple of weeks ago.  Wow!  I've never drawn a smoother bow.  At my draw length, I was pulling about 60 pounds, but it felt like 40.  I shot and shot and shot and never felt any fatigue.  What a bow.

That being said, I also test drove a Classic Whip and shot it noticeably better.  So I am now in line for a C Whip from Dan and about to be noticeably lighter in the wallet!  Black and White Ebony on the limbs and riser, and some East Indian Ebony sprinkled strategically about. 50@29, 66", beavertail grip, hand rubbed finish.  Sometime after Christmas.  The waiting begins...

Congratulations on a fine bow. I bought a 66" Super D off ToddZ recently, I'll admit it took me a little longer than normal to get dialed in to the way the Super D likes to do things, they're very light, but now it's my go to bow, smooth, quiet and great fun to shoot.

Cheers, Scott.

Thanks, they are fun to shoot. I just got done shooting at leaves in my yards. Once you get it braced in the sweet spot it is a very comfortable D shape longbow to shoot. I think mine is 6 7/8". Todd has some numbers on the speed. mine flings arrows very hard. The grip on this bow is a tad narrower than my last one and seems to fit my hand a little better. It points really well.

My 68 was shooting a 10 gpp arrow with a decent static release at 175fps.

All the best!
