I have talked to a few people on this forum about them but never asked what you did them In? Do you guys have a distance that you like to put them off the ground?

There was a thread about this last week. Barry Wensel recommended about 3' off the ground. I just placed a couple out on Friday using 5/8" diameter Hemp (Sp?) rope tied to an overhanging branch. I also reinforced the rope with a pencil sized limb zip tied to the rope for stability, then put a few drops of Smokey's Pre-Orbital Gland on the bottom of the rope.
Hope this helps.

Hi Matt, My buddy hangs his about 5 feet off the ground. He seems to get pretty good pictures at that location.

Just my .02. I like to save money and reuse when I can.
I take an old orange pill bottle and place a tampon in it. Squirt your desired scent on the product and close the bottle. Toss it in your pocket or pack. Hang it about eye level on your way into the stand. When you're done hunting, grab it and toss it back into the bottle for another day.
Only time I'll get caught buying girly stuff. Cheaper than the wicks and they sure hold some scent.
