It's not heavy. I just use the shoulder strap with mine, but I don't carry it more than 500-600 yards. If I was going to pack it a mile in I'd probably either buy the backpack straps or try to build some straps to carry it on my back.

Ghost Blind makes a carrying bag for the blind, a bit pricey but works well for backpacking the blind around. I first bag had faulty zippers and both of them broke but they replaced the bag and I haven't had any issues with the new bag. I would also suggest getting the blind extenders which make the blind a little taller.
