I've got no issue spending money on broadheads. I spend thousands of dollars in gas, and gear. The only thing that actually touches the animal is that little piece of steel on the end.

Lots of good heads in the 175 range, even more if you are willing to tinker with steel and aluminum adaptors. If you are willing the bust the file out you can gear nearly any weight you want.

I use the Tigersharks and 175 grain VPA 3 blades alot, and there are usually some options with VPA as far as the profile goes.

Like your first two replies Zwickey Delta with brass, or tiger sharks would both be outstanding. I have used either for over two decades very satisfied. Spin test each arrow, sharpen scary sharp then you are good to go!

I just bought the grizzly's for my father, I shot them in 200gr this year and loved them, easy to sharpen, fly great and can take a beating.

How about a 150 grain grizzly with a titanium adapter should get you right around 175 grains, or a 145 grain bonehead from a&h archery with a 30 grain adapter.

The werewolfs come sticky sharp and the ones  I've used sharpen up nicely on a truangle  stone and I finish  them with the truangle strop which I wish was still available (at least I can't find  them anymore). The werewolfs  remind me a lot of the Bear Razorheads.
Now we're digging where the taters are.

All day long...any 125 to 135 grain head with a long aluminum adapter makes 175 grainish heads.

If a few grain are an issue....you are borderline on your spine.

Also....the glue on Judos are the same weight with the long adapters....all is grand.

Zwickey Delta's are right there in your weight range and have a very proven track record.
