I just finished up some new woodies. Premium shafts from shurwood in 85 spine. 300 grain brass point, 834 grains overall, and 19% FOC. They fly beautifully from my 65 lb Whip.

I like wood above all the other arrow materials. It just has a magic not possessed by the others. The most beautiful arrows usually also are made of wood. It flies and performs better than most of us can shoot, making its accuracy totally acceptable. Plus, it is more durable than commonly believed. But most important of all, it is just plain FUN. I, too, would like to see the pictures.

Wood arrows hold a warm place, they remind me of what used to be called traditional archery. I still regularly make and use them. It's nice to see others doing the same.
Keeping it simple.
