IMHO one of the best performing heavy r/d bows on the market.  Extreme preload at brace. Fantastic grip made to fit your hand. I cannot say enough about them. Only wish I would have gotten one years ago and saved Thousands of dollars!

58" 2pc Chimera w/xtl 49@28 and just rec'd my new 60" 1pc Chimera w/xtl 53@28.  My 58" has the older style very narrow limbs and almost no reflex when braced.  I prefer the look of it.  Both draw smooth as silk with no hint of stacking as far as I can pull them back.  The new bow is faster to my eye shooting just over 10gpi from each.  Really easy to tune.  I'll try to post some pics in the next day or two.

Enamored with my Carbon ELite with XTL...62"...50#r...with DM.

Provides the full ethereal longbow experience yet permits a seamless transition to a recurve, in part, being cut 1/8" past center as permitted by the Dark Matter.

Had one for a short period with virtually identical specs with the exception of being a takedown...moved it to supplement financing a NZ hunting trip....the only bow that I had ever moved which I continually missed. I am most thrilled with the one piece acquired a couple of months ago. She has acoompanied me on at least 40 hunts this season.

The dates are wrong on the pics.  I have five Centaurs....this is my favorite.   She is 62"  #56  Koa riser, Dark matter.Carbon Elite, XTL Silver elk inlay, Beaver tail grip and elk antler on the tips and around the sight window on the riser and shoots like a dream.

Thanks Tater....Hope Illinois is treating you well. The new owners of your old place seem to be taking pretty good care of it....seems strange not seeing your target out back when I drive by though.

Anyone shoot one with a longer draw? I owed the 62 inch dark matter that Friend has now. I wish Jim made a 64 inch bow and the website says it draws smooth out past  30 some inches but I was looking for something longer.

Night Stalker, I draw 31" and have zero issues with my 60# 62" dark matter. Very smooth no stack.
