Yeah the Fergusens  Penthalons are the heaviest I know off you may have to go with some weight tubes. Or check out the AD trad Hammerheads not sure what they are gpi because of the tapered designe but they are pretty beefy

Would a Carbon Express Heritage 500(10.1 gpi) work if you cut it as short as you could go, and really point-load it? You might be able to get the overall weight up close to where you want it. Just guessing...

I lucked up on some Heavy Hunter blems from Big Jim at a Tradbow gathering. Won't hurt to call and check with him.

Why not just go with a lighter shaft and add more weight to the front? Will you weaken a .500 too much for your set up by doing that?

Hi,

Yeah tried that with stiffer shaft: .400 and 300grains up front, fly great.

the problem is that the weight up front change a lot my ballistic at long range and i want to have the same flight as my wood shafts to have a similar setup to the one i use for competivite 3D.

i currently use 60-65 german pine shaft that are around 13gpi, heavy but VERY TOUGH ! But for stump shooting i'd rather use carbon.

Did you look at Big Jim's?  If he doesn't have regular and blems get him to e-mail you when they come in...I'd have put you on some not long ago.

mand:  Might want to consider weight tubes.  I believe they come in 3 gpi and 5 gpi.  9-10 gpi is a pretty common weight for a .500 spine carbon shaft.  Add a 3 gpi weight tube and you're pretty close to or right on 13 gpi.

Yep I second the weight tubes or if you search on here I'm sure you'll find alternative weights like weed eater line etc.

It is much easier to give recommendations if we would know what bow you have and what total arrow weight you would want to achieve.
There are lots of ways to get to where you want to be.
