I've built several of these little broadhead covers for using with back and hip quivers, but recently, I've decided I like a bow mounted quiver better. Only problem is the one I have isn't very good, and I'm not in the position to buy a good one at the moment.
The one I have now is an old limb mount Kwikee Kwiver that I modified with a homemade leather hood. I had to mount the hood on an old shaft mounted in one of the four arrow slots, turning it into a three arrow quiver. The problem is that the hood flexes and wiggles a little which results in a slight increase in noise when shot. A little duco cement to secure the mounting shaft to the arrow grippers helps some, but the hood itself still shakes some.
So tonight I'm starting a little project with scraps from around the house. It's going to be somewhat similar to the Kanati Slim Jim quiver. I built four of the little broadhead covers. (One is centered on the back and not visible in the picture) Now I have to build me a small metal bracket to go on the back, along with some sort of strap system. Then I'll attach the four pieces together, along with the bracket and strap. Hopefully, it'll be pretty simple. For now, I'll use one half of the 4 arrow Kwikee Kwiver for the bottom half. I'll eventually try to get some type of rubber to cut some grippers out of and build a matching bottom half. Anyway, here's what I have for now.
