Saw this on drudge. I'm kind of surprised by it actually, I know we have some members here on TG from the UK and elsewhere but most of Europe has been so liberal recently I'm surprised one can even still own a bow, let alone hunt on the government's request. I'd certainly volunteer though, lol. I doubt they get to take anything away from the hunt though...

This raises one of those issues that really bugs me: those who believe that killing an animal is cruel.
Being shot by an arrow is certainly less traumatic to an animal than being torn apart, sometimes while still living, by a predator such as a wolf or cougar.
Such people truly do not understand how the natural world works.
