I'll see what I can do, Kleine.

Sirius, I'd like to think I draw 28", but in reality, it's probably more like 27.5". No stack for me, lol. Seriously though, I can draw it to 30" and I really don't feel it stacking. Not a real scientific experiment, but I don't think they are fudging on it.

Sounds like a plan, FAV52. Do you know any dates yet?

Chad, one was a Beman ICS Bowhunter 500 with a 50 grain insert and 175 grain point. I think it is 28.5", but I'm not sure on that. The other was an Easton XX75 with a 175 grain point. Not sure on the length of that one. They are just what I had around home, which is not much. I'm going to bring some stuff home from the cabin this weekend and do some testing here on paper to fine tune. I'll post what I figure out.

Congratulations on your new bow, they are definitely shooter's! I have one it's #50@28 and it amazes me at how smooth / fast and quiet it is. Good luck with the turkeys

Okay, Chad, here's what it looks like I'm going with. It took me longer than I'd planned because it's so frigging cold here...shoot a few then go inside, wipe my nose and warm my hands, then do over. I paper tune then confirm it with bare shafts.

Anyway, it turns out this one likes the same recipe my Kanati did. My go to with that was a 29.5" arrow, 500 spine, 100 grain insert, and a 175 grain point. The bad news is I had to cut my shafts to 28.5" to tune for my 48# Bama and 50# Orion, so that's mostly what I have around right now. If I go 225 upfront they tune fine, but overall weight tops 600 grains.

The 600 grains is doable, but I'd have to retrain my brain for shots over 15 yards. I hit about 4" low with them at 20 yards. I've got some shafts on order, so I'll probably just go with 29.5". I killed a buck with my Kanati with that combo with a Delta up front. At 22 yards, it zipped right through him.

Every time I shoot my 52" KMag, or 54" Java Man Elkheart, I'm impressed by the power stored in them. Bet you're going to really enjoy this one.
