New bear takedown for 2017?
« on: January 13, 2017, 12:48:00 PM »
My friend was at ATA show last week and he said he stop by the bear archery booth and they had a new takedown for 2017 coming out. He said it had a red stripe and was super pretty. Anyone heard about these or seen them?  I'm just curious now

I haven't heard, guess you will have to go to Kalamazoo and see

The new bow is a commemorative version of the takedown. I saw it at the ATA show as well. I was told the limbs will be bubinga under clear glass.  The riser, I believe, was some type of ebony with a bubinga stripe. Gloss finish and very beautiful! Bear's people said they were still working on details such as when to release it, the price, and how many would be made. One estimate I was told was 200 bows. We are trying to obtain some for our store. If I am wrong on any details I apologize. Details were a little sketchy in the booth.
