Blacktail Longbow

Been shooting Norm's recurves for several years and thinking about one of his longbows. Anyone here got one and can give feedback?

There's already a thread going on here about the BT longbow. Check out Ryan Sanpei's thread.

Did a search before the post and did not see it. Where is Ryan's thread?

Sightsee has shot it as well. I've got a Sitka on order and that longbow looks mighty appealing.

Thanks Paul
I will be looking at the Columbian 1 piece. Have you had the pleasure of shooting 1?

I owned a very old Columbian years ago, but I haven't shot the new one. Sightsee would be the guy to ask and I believe Ryan has shot one when Norman was hunting in Hawaii a couple months ago and pulled the trigger on ordering one shortly after.

Yep, it's definitely a shooter for sure! It's nothing like the old Columbian longbow. I shot both new redesigned bows a couple weeks ago and both are wonderful in every way.
Far as one piece vs. 3 piece it's up to the shooter what they prefer. My buddy is getting a one piece, I'm getting one this spring that's a 3 piece.
I'd recommend contacting BB and talking with them, the product is impeccable and so is the performance.

I haven't shot the 1 piece but I do have the 3 piece of Norms longbow and it's a great shooting bow.
