It involved the purchase of a new kanati. What are your thoughts (kanati owners) on the 58" vs 60" length. Keep in mind that Im predominately a recurve shooter who deals with target panic and need an extremely stabile and forgiving bow. Im also a treestand hunter so shorter is better if possible

Depending on your draw length you just answered your own question when you said shorter is better.

Or you can send another Email to Kanati and they can help you out.

The 60" Kanati is an incredible bow. If one inch on each end gets you tangled up in a tree stand you could do a little pruning when you set up your stand.

For what its worth....I'm 5'9' on a good day and I've killed tons of deer and hogs from tree stands with 60 inch longbows and recurves.

This may get some boos, but in my experience 60" seems to be the perfect length for the hybrid longbow s I've tried.

....but, if you have a chance to pick up a used Kanati that is 58" -- well, go for it. With your short draw length either one will be good.

A 56" would be perfect for your draw length and would work great in a treestand. They are very sweet shooters.

I have a 29" draw and shoot a 58" Kanati. If I had a shorter draw I would get the 56" Kanati is a very stable bow. Great bows!

I'd go with a 56" at your draw. They are very efficient and forgiving at any length. Eventually I may replace my 58" with a 56". I draw 27". Kanatis are the best shooting bows I've shot, and I've shot lots of different bows over the years.
