I have a 27-5/8" draw with a Black Widow 54"KB that is sweet.... I shoot three under.

I have a 54 inch toelke pika and a 53 inch Javaman Eros recurve. Both are awesome and I draw close to 28. Both bows are just over 1 pound and really great hunting weapons and shoot as well as much longer bows.A joy to carry in the woods.

I can't imagine any short bow either stacking heavily or pinching greatly at a 25" draw.  I say go for it, you lucky dog.  On a recurve style handle I draw 30" and that bow is probably not in my cards.

I have 2 old 52" Wing Thunderbirds built back in the late 60's. My draw is 27" and they shoot great. Smooth, stack free to my draw, nice weight micarta riser, and no finger pinch. Great little hunting bows. They don't have to be new to be a great shooting short bow. Just well designed.

Quite a few years ago, I got off kilter and bought a compound. Two years afterwards, one day we had a throwback night at our league where some of us brought our old recurves out to shoot.

I brought my 48" Supermag . At 20 yards my first two shots were in the kill zone. I was actually surprised  by that. My partner said how do you that and I replied "I don't know, but it sure was fun."

I never picked up the compound again. Finger pinch has never really bothered me.

My wife has a Kmag and a 25" DL and it's perfect for her. I own a Bodnik Kiowa (52" as well) and draw to 28.5". I have shot both. Both have finger pinch but the K Mag stacks and the Kiowa does not. At your draw length any 52" recurve should be fine. The SM 48 I have never shot but every review I have ever seen on it is that you either hate it or love it, no in between.
Life can be complicated. Hunting shouldn't be.
