One bunk open at Wild Things Mar 14-18
« on: February 18, 2017, 03:42:00 PM »
Camp hAmbush! has one opening for this year's hunt. It doesn't say it on the website, we'd like to find someone here who wants it.

We've got quite the cast of characters again this year. This will be my 7th year, Rick and Doug did a few more years before I came on board. Jerry, Derek, and Chris are all return hunters from this camp from the past couple years. Steve Angell is a veteran of WT, but is joining this camp for the first time this year. I want to kick off the planning email thread soon, so it would be nice to find our last hunter before too long.

A few tidbits about this hunt:
1 - there will be whiskey slush made by Doug himself. Some folks prefer a dry camp, so I wanted to put that out there.
2 - I will be celebrating my birthday in camp again this year, and I'm trying to coordinate a hog sausage/deer burger meatloaf for that night as a special treat.
3 - I find this interesting, all seven hunters have been successful in killing hogs with longbows. Don't mean anything, just a quirky fact.

There you go, post below or send a PM if you are interested.

I am interested and am free to be there. Would like to find out who I would be hunting with. Thom, your input sounds like fun.

Dougs Whisky slush is worth the trip.

Good morning everyone,
The order of messages received was Joe, Roy, David, then Dave.

I'll be replying to PMs starting with Joe to see who can make this work.
Thanks everyone!

David Riley, the first two guys did not take the bunk so it is to you. Please reply to my PM at your earliest opportunity. Thank you.

David has bunk #8 confirmed, hAmbush is full again for 2017!

I would like to wish the best of luck to our fellow TGers Terry, Joe, John, and all them Arma-Dillers who will get a hunt in between now and our trip.
