Bushnell Hunt track
« on: March 06, 2017, 08:41:00 PM »
Does anyone here have any experience using a Bushnell Hunt Track? I've used their Backtrack unit and was good with it's accuracy.
I'm considering purchasing a Hunt Track because it'll mark 25 locations, while the Backtrack only holds three.
If you've used one, did it function alright under a full leaf canopy?
Thanks for the help.

Knobby, I own both and have used both for several years. The hunt-track does have the 25 locations but they are numbers not symbols. Only 3 are symbols. Also the hunt track is a little more complicated to operate. The hunt track does have the capability to use a mapping program once you download the program.

I personally like and use the standard backtrack more than the hunt-track.  I think they make a standard backtrack that holds five symbols now. That would be about perfect. If you need more locations I would almost just buy another standard backtrack and have two units or purchase a GPS that has the backtrack capability.
