Thank you. I have figured out how to download a couple episodes. Can only do 2 at a time for storage reasons.

I guess my biggest question was, once its downloaded to the phone, and I am driving along listening to the podcast, am I using data at that point or am I just listening to something that is saved on the phone and playing off a file?

I am looking forward to listening while driving across the country.
Relax,

Cyclic, once you've downloaded it, you're just listening to a source file on your phone. No data.

It should then automatically delete them after it's played the whole way through. So make sure you allow the episode to fully complete.

Yep I use BeyondPod and listen to THE PUSH, TEAM NEVER QUIT, HUNTING DOG PODCAST, GRITTY BOWMEN, etc...makes commutes and long periods alone pass quickly.

Is there a way to make all the participants the same volume level?

Sometimes the guests are fine and hosts hard to hear, sometimes the other way around.  And why does the intro music have to bee SO LOUD?

Hermon, Thanks for the message. Growing pains of learning this stuff.

Working on trying to get the audio levels even for all facets of the podcasts. It makes it an editing nightmare when a guest's phone connection is sub-par. At that point, its a manual effort of increasing or decreasing volume on every sentence spoken.

It will get better. Promise  ;)

Thanks for listening in!

I thought I was going to need a Gen Z kid to get me going on listening but was easy, just pushed a button.

Hahaha, thanks for bringing this back up!

Tons of great episodes available with great guests and a ton of other podcast shows out there as well!

Nothing like listening to traditional archery content on the radio in the car!!
