Is this fixable?

Both tips look like they have been chewed on by a dog. Is this fixable? Will it effect the bow? Thanks.

It's still not working. Anyways, its a 68" Pearson longbow from the 50s or 60s that looks to be in good shape. The only problem is the ends of the bow appear do have been chewed on by a dog. The seller says the bow is fully functional.

links- I took the number and looked it up on that site. First of all, the opening bid is about $25.00 too high. These types are everywhere,and they are cheap, just takes time to find one. The last two I got were $2.00 and $5.00. It looks like it has taken a set, and the tips are toast.

If you really need to, I would imagine you could cut 'em off, shortening the bow up abit, and carve new grooves (just guessing, I'm not a bowyer)

In my opinion, I'd stay FAR away from that one.
