Source for flint for knapping

I went to Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum this past weekend, and got to try out flint knapping on a chunk of dacite. Id like to get some flint and make some points for small game hunting (not allowed for bear and deer in Md), with some cane arrows. Does anyone know of a good reliable source for some flint? I was told to check neolithics, but Im not really sure if their prices and materials are reasonable or not. Thanks fellas.

I believe a web search will find you a few options. Out here we use obsidian

Most all the rock suppliers are competitive in price. You either buy by the pound for bulk rock or by the inch for slabbed up rock.
I have dealt with Craig Ratzat at Neolithics and Dennis Kern at Kentucky Flint Works. You can also check with flintknappers .com

You can use 1/4" glass. Local glass companies have plenty of scrap.
I have some obsidian triangular preforms made from slabs. I'd be happy to send you a few to play with.
I may even have some chert(?) preforms I will share with you.

Start with glass, when you're getting good start to think about stone. This is especially true if you don't have much good stone locally.
