Eagles Flight quiver on a Bear Greenstripe
« on: May 01, 2017, 07:31:00 AM »
I acquired a 1981 Green Stripe TD at the KY shoot. I wanted to use my EFA quiver with the wrap on the upper limb and a side mount for the lower attachment.

Don sent me a bracket for the side mount and the result looks and functions great.
Looks good on my Red Stripe riser

I make my own lower bracket using an in line Selway gripper (which keeps the arrows closer to the bow, a feature I like) for my A and B risers.  Works good.

Looks awesome got my wheels turning big time! Thanks for sharing Marc.
I made a green armguard with a turkey on it and a green string tracker for St Judes action looked very similar.

I was making them for myself but then had to give them up for the kids! That said I still want a set for me but  haven't got to it. Really like that quiver I will have to add that to the list.

Hey Marc, it looks great on all the bows but the last photo with the green riser is the one that I like best.

The idea of using a side mount bracket on the lower arrow gripper attachment is a great way to overcome the challenge of a long riser. There is no extra charge if someone ordered it that way.

You will making me another green quiver for that bow before hunting season.  Thanks for working with me on the bracket.

The Bear quivers have some vibration issues that cause some noise. That can be fixed in a few minutes.I used them for many, many years. The lower spring arm will vibrate off the bow after several shots, like when practicing. That can be fixed with a velcro strap.

Arrows eventually slide down the grippers and you find yourself constantly pushing them back up in the hood, even with 11/32" shafts. If you don't,you get noise from loose broadheads in the hood.

I finally had to give them up.There are better and lighter quivers made now.The EFA can't be beat for lightness.
