Improved Tippit Survival Pocket/Beverage Knife
« on: May 05, 2017, 04:30:00 PM »
Improved design on my forged pocket/beverage knife...a thin punched lip into the upper handle to really grab the bottle cap. OAL 6 1/2" forged from a 3 1/2" piece of 1084 1X3/8" bar stock. Made as my every day carry/working knife with a less time consuming Scotch Brite finish.  Maybe St Judes is calling...tippit

Old Design as the new one is tempering in the oven...

Fits in your pocket like a carabineer...

  [/IMG]

Kydex sheath keeps it safe...

Great survival tool for these 90 degree Aiken, SC days...

That is an awesome knife. Nice work!

I love my knife you built that I was fortunate enough to win in the auction last year. Field dressed my first trad buck with it.

I really like the original, but LOVE the sleek lines on the latest version.  Simple yet beautiful, practical yet exquisite.  I appreciate your handwork in crafting r-e-a-l-l-y sharp things!  Well done, Doc!

That's pretty dang cool! I'm always so envious of people with craftsmanship skills! I can do some things at a fairly high level, but building things isn't one of them! Hats off to ya!

I bet it wouldn't take me long to bond with that knife. That looks like a handy one.
