St Jude Auction Listing Assistance (photos, etc)

If you have a desire to contribute to the St. Jude Auction and are reluctant to do so for whatever reason, I can help you with posting photos and provide assistance with any issues you may have concerning item descriptions.

Do this:  

1.  Create a listing (new topic).

2.  Give the topic a name (example):  "one dozen used broadheads"  -or- "one 1976 Corvette"....

3.  Do your best to describe your offering...

4.  Email me the name (description) you have given your offering and any photos you would like to add to the description. You can shoot me photos from your phone if you request the number.

5. I can insert your photos into your listing and will help you edit your donation description.

Fair enough?  Lets do it!!

Outstanding, Tony. There are always reluctant entrants out there because of that very thing (I've been called on to help many friends over the years). This could very well be one of the biggest draws for entrants to help the kids of St. Jude that anyone has come up with yet, in our support of the annual auction. I almost didn't have a St Jude listing because of the photo deal.
Luckily I had a old photo in Photobucked and managed to get it posted.

Thank you!  I haven't been very successful with photobuket.  I'll get all my stuff together this week and get things started.

I just finished a Powerpoint document showing each step in getting a photo link from IMAGUR that allows you to place it into your forum topic.  

It can be viewed as a slideshow on your computer or can be printed.  This copy is the first rough draft but works well enough.  

Shoot me your email and I'll send it to you.  

Please give me some feedback and I will immediately tweak.  Anyone interested shoot me an email and I will respond.


Another issue with posting photos that I suspect keeps some folks from even trying is making a photo comply with TG size requirements.  

This afternoon I will put together some instructions on how to do that - not a big deal but if folks don't know how many will not try...or post images that don't comply.
