Anyone Own a Win Black Wolf Recurve?
« on: May 19, 2017, 07:00:00 AM »
Hey all,

I'd like to get some opinions on the Black Wolf recurve bow made by Win&win.  I ran across is while browsing the Lancaster Archery site.  It's an all Carbon fiber bow and the limbs that go with it are also carbon.  It is an ILF bow as well.

There are some videos on youtube about it.  The ones I've seen the bow gets very high marks.

I'm interested in this set up.  I was thinking about what I would want if I got rid of my Morrison ILF riser and had never heard of this one.  I also didn't know that Hoyt has new ILF risers out now to replace the Buffalo.  They're pretty close to what I have now in the 17 inch.

So...if you have any experience with the Black Wolf bow, or you own one, how about sharing your thoughts and opinions as well as a pic or 2.  I'd like to see some real world pics of it.

Thanks for your time and help.
Larry

I shot a course last summer with a father and son who both had one. Very accurate and flat shooting bow. I shot one a few times, and while I shot it well, I found the grip very uncomfortable. Don't know if other grips are available?

Ya mine was listed as 50@28 but it was actually 58 . I don't think that's the norm and the shop gladly sent me a new set of Limbs. Unfortunately in the time it took to replace the Limbs I got hooked on longbows and haven't even shot it. I will say it's the nicest looking recurve I've ever held. Mine will be sold to fund another longbow

I bought one about a year ago.  Did a thorough review in the "product reviews" forum.  Lots of pics, speed tests, etc.

I stared shooting Off the shelf. Worked ok. Then I put hoyt hunter rest on and working again. Made Some tiller tuning and  got quote silent bow. I must say that this is first ilf bow to me and I dont think gonna get anything Else anymore. Ended up Some negative tiller with 3under.
Have to try find bear weather rest somewhere.

I have the lobo riser and it shoots nice. The carbon absorbs a lot of vibration so the bow is quiet.

I'm currently shooting it with centaur ilf limbs and its a perfect match.
