Wagstaff longbows
« on: May 20, 2017, 10:27:00 PM »
Anybody own or shoot any of their line of one-piece Longbows? A while ago I had settled between a toelke whip or a boice chief Longbow.... Now I came across wagstaff archery in Texas and... One more choice to add but I can't find much about them especially regarding noise and craftsmanship. Also couldn't find any braced or drawn profile pics.

Any info and pics are highly appreciated! Thanks, Pat

I've shot one at a shoot and it was very nice.

PM member "K2", he's a lefty pal who ordered and owned one for a spell.  He seemed quite pleased with it though I believe he passed it on to fund the next big thing, like we all tend to do.  I'm sure he'll give you a review.

Have a friend that has the Pendencia model. Queit, Smooth, and very fast. Workmanship as good or better than anything out there. Grip is perfect for me.  I will probably buy one if he has a display at the Texas State Longbow Championship next weekend.

They are very nice bows.  They will make sure you are happy.  I did not like the grip at first and he said send it back and I will fix it to your satisfaction.  He did a great job.  Bows are quick, quiet and beautiful.  Ken

I received a new one from Conner this spring. I have several (top end) custom bows and my 62" pendencia gets shot more than any other, almost everyday. There are lots of great bows, and just like women we all have our own "style" that get us excited.  I will give wagstaff credit where it is due, to me they make a very attractive longbow that has everything I look for: performance, forgiveness, good looks, and comfort. Just like my wife

I own two of them and love them both!  A friend of mine here locally has ordered 2 himself and is very pleased with their work.

The bows I've shot or been around are very fast and put an arrow right where you are looking.  The craftsmanship is second to none.

Connor and Jeff are also stand up people who care about their customers and products. If you have a chance to check them out do so!
