trail cam question
«

First off, I'm not going to say which camera I use because I do not want comments on whether you like that particular one or not. That being said, the problem I am having is that it will take one or two videos and it will drain the battery down to half or more. They are only 15 sec videos. I do realize that this could be a manufacture problem, but wanted to see if anybody has had issues like this and fixed it on your own.

Sounds like a defective unit to me. Email manufacturer. If its under warranty I would not open it up, may void said warranty.
Also alkaline or lithium batteries are needed on most units.

Definitely an operational issue, that is not normal. Get ahold of the mfg and see if they can help you, most are very good at helping you.
