NC Roanoke river gamelands?

Anyone on here hunt these game lands? thinking about doing a hunt in there this year? maybe with the kayak?

Just wondering if anyone hunts any of these areas. How did you hunt it? ground, treestand? camp or walk in out?

Not sure just gonna have more time to dedicate to hunting this year and would like to go "off" as we say around here and hunt some different woods.

I live 20 miles from the Roanoke river near Roanoke rapids.  Never hunted in nc. but deer numbers are really high from what I hear. I can tell you it is littered with rock fish in May!

Got a rock hole down the river towards plymough where I can sit on one spot and catch 150 200 on fly rod in a 2/3 hour stretch! love fishing the roanoke!!!
