GT vs Black Eagle
« on: June 10, 2017, 10:56:00 PM »
Anyone with experience with both these? I have been shooting GT 3555s but thinking of trying the Black Eagle Vintage arrows but don't really want to change my set up and hoping they would both shoot with the same setup.  Any experience or thoughts.
Thanks

Don't know about the vintage shaft but if static spine, shaft diameter and gpi are the same your good to go, if not adjustments may need to be made.

I made the switch from GT Trad 3555 to Black Eagle Vintage 500's.

The only adjustment I made was to the nock.  I noticed the Black Eagle are fletched at a greater rate of twist, so I rotated the nock for better fletch clearance off my shelf rest.

Overall, I've been very happy with them.
