I agree that it is lack of advertising money and profit potential that has the greatest effect on this topic. But, I guess I am the odd man out here. I am glad there aren't any, and I don't watch the hunting shows we do have.

I have seen shots that look like gut hits followed by cheering and high fives all over the place. To me, taking an animal is a private and solemn affair. Not criticizing those who do like these shows or those who cheer when they take an animal. All I'm saying is that it is not my style and that I don't miss not having them.

It's been stated a few times the lack of advertisements is the main reason...for the most part traditional bowhunters rely on acquired skills, and knowledge to get within range, and harvest an animal. Hunting shows, do little more than to market technologies, that greatly lessen the need for skills and knowledge. If industry could figure out a way to sell skill, knowledge, and simple ways, believe me, they would shun technology, and be all over what we do.
Thanks,
Tim

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Well said.
