Consider a piece of tyvek. Cheap & light. If you use a sil-tarp, make sure you pick up every stick & pine needle before putting it down. They puncture easily. Look closely if you get a knock-off brand. Woven housewraps often leak with standing water or even rainfall. Plenty of ways around that as long as you're careful about site selection & using what's around you. But you have to give it a little forethought.
I just use my backpack (mostly empty at camp) as a pillow inside my bivy sack so it all stays dry. If I'm worried about my bow, I'll prop it up off the ground with some sticks or rocks and put it next to me under the sil-tarp lean-to that keeps my bed dry.

Tyvek is stiff and noisy. Just wash it in your tub by hand and it will relax and get quiet.

Terry, Seek Outside is a gear company that makes tents, tarps, and tipi tents. They're in Grand Junction, Co., and make their stuff there. Both owners are avid bowhunters.
I just got one of their "tipi tents" about a week ago... haven't used it yet, but the quality and design is really nice.

Pretty hard to beat the military ponchos. They aren't heavy, but definitely not light. But, they are nearly indestructible and would cover basic needs for minimal price. I also think tyvek would be a good option as well.
