Bow arrived safely and as described. Think I really going to like it for what I wanted it for.
The arrows did not fare as well. Looks like something fell on the box crushing one half of it and must have stayed on it for a while.Three of them had a bad dogleg in them and when I tried to straighten them they snapped.
For those that don't know David give me the matched arrows and they are nice so thanks David.
Shot some groups with some carbons I have and did really well for me especially being the first time in 40 years I had shot a Hill bow. Don't know how to post pictures here. Hope the new server makes it easier for us old dummies.
Thanks again David for a great deal and bow.

Happy that you like the bow, Dwight. Disappointing about the arrows. There was also a bare shaft in there in the 40-45# spine range. If it survived it may give you some idea of what arrows to use in the future. Hopefully the spare string and stringer survived? If not, then you should consider filing a claim with UPS, as there is the basic $100 insurance coverage on the box of arrows.

I get all my wood shafts from
Wapiti Arrows
.
I usually get shafts finished as you see them (well, except they aren't bent into a dogleg), and put on my own feathers since I like my feathers oriented for my nose anchor.
