MO doe…finally!

I’ve been trying all season to shoot a doe, and failing miserably at it. I won’t shoot fawns, and I did pass does with fawns early season, so I have had some chances. I finally got one this morning at 10 yards. Shot was perfect and she ran about 80 yards straight towards the field, which made for an easy drag out. Glad to get the monkey off my back. And since our firearms opener is tomorrow, I’ll be able to start buck hunting again. Best of luck to everybody else out hunting.

Congrats Jake, Nice doe.
I'm with you. I can't buy a shot at a doe. Haven't taken a shot at a buck yet either.
